Ideal for regular walkers, creatives, or those wanting to feel more independent in the hills. We’ll move into steeper, open ground, focusing on poor visibility navigation, relocation techniques, and real-world route finding.

You’ll learn:

  • Navigating off-path and in low visibility
  • Route planning with contours
  • Compass strategies (attack points, back bearings, handrails)
  • Relocation techniques (what to do when you’re not sure where you are)

Who’s it for?
Those with basic experience who want to go further or prep for qualifications.
