A warm welcome to Book-ish, your friendly independent bookshop, located in Crickhowell, a pretty town 5 miles from Abergavenny in the Brecon Beacons National Park.

Our philosophy is simple, we want to connect people to books, help children to develop a life long love of reading and encourage imaginative play. We offer a friendly, quality service and are happy to talk about books all day long....you just try and stop us!

Picador and Book-ish present Shore to Shore: Celebrating Poetry and Community with the Laureate and Friends, featuring Carol Ann Duffy, Gillian Clarke, Imtiaz Dharker, Jackie Kay, John Sampson plus special guest poet.

Tickets include a copy of the Shore to Shore commemorative tour programme (distributed on the night). There will be a book stall at the event which is followed by an author signing.

Join us at Book-ish on Good Friday to celebrate the launch of Celestine and the Hare's first 3 books Small finds a home, Paperboat for Panda and Honey for Tea! 
Come and meet Karin Celestine and Emily, Panda, King Norty, Baby Weasus and Small. Hear the stories, make boats for pandas and hammocks for weasels and alder cone bees. Karin will be signing books or they might be stamped by the King of Nortiness himself. There will be honey for tea and general weaselly nortiness and beary cuddles and most likely some chokllit too if the weasels haven't snaffled it all...
